The moment I saw , I was drawn to it...so that will have to be my vote as well.

I like dragon as well but usually dragons are not associated with valor – they can be cruel, strong, greedy, etc but no valor. So I like V icons with a shield – that can be associated with valor. Flag is good but V is not as clear on flag -- too few pixels availiable

I'm not sure if it would even work, but I did my best to remove the white background from the V shield

Amelia, how do you do that with paint!? Jeez, your like the picasso of paint(the computer kind ;) ). I tried making 1 in paint and failed epically XD

Im with Maveric on this one... as much as I like dragon dont think that has any connection to Valour. I like better idea with two swords like V latter on the shield.

OK. If the dragon has nothing to do with Valour, allow me to step back to one of the first icons with a V on a shield:



Let us assume the background will NOT be transparent. So we can pick a color for it other than white.

The contrast I liked more between the V and the shield was this one:



This is the same image with a silver / gray background:

lolz ive just had practice, and googled images help as a base too.

Well, depends which kind of dragon. Western dragons tend to be evil while eastern dragons tend to be good 8). And judging from the the detail of the 16 x 16 pixel art, this is soo obviously an eastern dragon :P
